Our Policy

To fully enjoy the therapeutic massage and bodywork services provided by Keeping Active Massage Therapy, LLC in North Carolina and domestic and international locations, please take time to read our policy first. If you have further questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us.

1. Nationwide appointments require a two-weeks' notice. A travel fee will be included in pr​icing.


2. Non-Refundable $60 deposit is REQUIRED for all bookings.


3. Please complete intake form, pain scale, and consent form after booking and email the documents. Please be advised before each visit the pain scale is required prior to the session. A new intake form is required every 6 months.


4. Please be ready for your massage at the scheduled time of your appointment.


5. Sexual harassment will NOT be tolerated. There will be an immediate termination of the appointment. 


6. Please be mindful this session is for you. Upon arrival, no distractions (no individuals around upon or during ANY session).


7. Be mindful of hygiene (shower). 


8. Be mindful pelvic floor services will need a referral and done on a case-by-case basis. 


9. Draping will be provided for safety, comfort, and privacy of the client. The following areas will remain covered: gluteal, genitals, and breast for ALL clients. The procedure will be explained before each session.


10. Confidentiality will be adhered to for each client, unless written disclosure is consented by the client, or required by the court of law. Files will be kept secure for 5 years after termination of client/therapist relationship and disposed of in a secure manner.


11. If you don't want to receive emails, you can opt out at any time.


12. Late Policy: If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 10 minutes (unless having telephoned us you might be late) it will be construed by us that you are a "no-show", and that time slot will automatically become available for someone else, and you will be charged.


13. Filing A Complaint: Complaint about licensees, schools of massage and bodywork therapy, or those who may be practicing massage and bodywork therapy without a license shall be filed with the Board Office. These complaints should refer to a violation of the laws or rules. To report a possible violation of the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy Practice Act or Rules and Regulations of the Board, complete the electronic form or mail the form to the board with any supporting documentation.
